LOCATION AND COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Croatian Wings for Life World Run starts next to the Roman Forum and St Donatus’ Church, the city’s popular landmarks, then continues through the city center, heading toward the Adriatic highway, passing by the famous city walls which allowed the town to retain its independence.

From the starting point in Zadar to a lovely small city of Primošten, where the last runners are supposed to end their race, the track passes through Bibinje, Sukošan, St. Filip and Jakov, Biograd, Pakoštane, Drage, Pirovac, Vodice, Šibenik, Brodarica and Žaborić among other smaller places.

WINGS FOR LIFE WORLD RUN VENUE INFORMATION
Besides race number pick-up, there will be lots of things happening at the Wings for Life World Run venue: Expo, food and beverage, merchandise shop, drop off and pick up of clothes and, of course, the chance to enjoy the global broadcast of the race on a big screen with your fellow runners.

WHEELCHAIR
In our unique event concept, all wheelchair participants are part of the global Wings for Life World Run and can compete with the runners. We will try to accommodate all participants in wheelchair, but due to the global character of the race, special rules will need to be enforced to obtain a valid result. In the Wings for Life World Run only “everyday use” wheelchairs complying with the following specifications are permitted: It must be manually hand driven by its user pushing the wheels. It must have two large rear drive wheels (20-25”) two small front wheels (3-7”) two push rings and two brakes. It can be a folding or a rigid/non-folding wheelchair. The chair may weigh between 7 and 25 kg and the user needs to sit in an upright position (90 degrees). It is strongly recommended that quadriplegics have an anti-tipper. The disposition of the drive wheel must be between 0° and 8°.

TIMING AND RACE NUMBER HANDOUT
You will receive your race number via email a couple of days before the race. Race number contains a timing tag that is activated when you pass the Catcher Car at the start line. This tag then registers your result when the Catcher Car passes you at the end of your race.

All participants who register until March 12, 2017 will receive a personalized race number with their name on it.

During the On-Site Check-in, each runner will receive a runners bag as well as a unique race number. This race number, which will include the timing tag, must be worn at all times during the race on the front of the runner so that all information on the race number is clearly visible. For participants in a wheelchair will be provided timing tag which needs to be attached; the race number must be worn as well on the front of the Participant.

MINIMUM AGE
The Event is open to all individuals who are at least 16 years of age or older on the race day. Organizer will reserve the right to require proof of age and identity for any Participant. Guardians must sign in case of legal minority.

ENTRY FEE
Until January 31: 100,00 HRK (80,00 HRK + 25 % TAX).

From February 1: 150,00 HRK (120,00 HRK + 25% TAX).

STARTING POSITION
Runners will be positioned at the start in sections by personal best marathon, half-marathon or 10-km-run finish times. Faster runners will be positioned in the front of the start area closest to the start line. Those who do not provide a finish time will be included in the final start position farthest from the start line.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES
If the participant limit is not reached before, online Registration will end on May 3, 2017 at 13:00 local time.

MEDICAL INFORMATION
There will be medical staff and facilities on-site as well as ambulance vehicles along the course.

If you are allergic to something or have other important information for the medical team in case of emergency, please make sure to note this on the provided form on the reverse side of your race number.

REFRESHMENT STATIONS
We will provide refreshment stations on 5., 7.5., 10., 12.5., 15., 20. and every 5 km after of the course. We will provide you with still mineral water, Red Bull Energy Drink, Cola, fruit and other nutrition.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
When the Catcher Car passes you, your race is over. We will then shuttle you back to the Wings for Life World Run Starting area. Shuttle station you will find across refreshment station. Please, be patient due to large number of runners.
